Preparation for Cheesy Masala Chana Vada –
  • Clean the Chana Dal and remove any kind of stones or dirt. To soak Chana Dal, first wash it twice with water and then soak it in warm water. Soaking in water enables the dal to cook faster - thereby saving on time as well as energy. So, soak it for 1 hour before cooking.
  • Once it’s getting soaked as per the required time, then drain it. Now take a jar to add this chana dal to it and grind it slightly without adding water.
  • Transfer the grind chana dal in a bowl and keep it aside.
  • Now start the chopping part, take an onion diced it and add it to the chopper next add green chili, curry leaves, mint, coriander, and soya ki bhaji(Dill leaves). Chop it well.
  • After completing the chopping process transfer it to a bowl, now add the salt, ginger & garlic paste, turmeric, red chili, baking powder, and grated cheese mix it, And finally add blended chana dal mix this mixture very well.
  • Before you start to make the vada, apply some oil on your hands and take the required amount of mixture and shape it nicely.
  • On the other side, Heat oil in a pan on a medium flame. Once it gets heated add the shaped vada’s to it and fry until it becomes golden brown.
